vikstra.ai sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties. Fonts and images are served from this domain. Your theme choice is kept in your browser’s local storage and never leaves it. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page) for security and troubleshooting, and does not use them for anything else.

The vikstra app.

The app has no vikstra account and no vikstra cloud. Everything it keeps is stored on your machine under~/.vikstra. Chats, open tabs, jobs and snapshots are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, using a key held by your operating system’s keychain, or a protected key file where the system has none. The instance index is decrypted while the app runs and sealed when it quits or the screen locks. The audit log of writes and flow backups are plain files, and in the default workspace mode so is a copy of the instance’s scripts. Instances in secure mode keep no plaintext workspace.

The app talks to the ServiceNow instances you sign in to, your identity provider when you sign in, the AI provider you configure (if any) and an update feed, if one is set. It downloads the privacy model from Hugging Face when no filter service is set up, and the ServiceNow docs from GitHub when you ask for them. It has no telemetry, crash reporting or analytics. Requests to an AI provider pass through a personal-data filter that cannot be switched off. We do not receive your instance data.

If you write to us, we use your message and address to reply and to arrange access to vikstra, and for nothing else. Ask us at any time to delete it.
